Devotional:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.”
John 1:1-4 NRSV
A Light in the Darkness
We all need light. Let’s agree and commit to making ‘light’ our priority during the shorter days of winter. Get outside once a day to have lunch or take a short walk. Our bodies actually need natural sunlight.
We also need the light of Christ. During your darkest hours, make the ‘light’ of Christ your guide. Don’t abandon your devotion. This light will guide you in the darkness.
