Devotional:

Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

Years ago, there was a commercial that said, “you never get a second chance to make a first impression”. What is the first thing that people notice about you? Is it your smile, or your wicked sense of humor? Maybe it is your sense of style… Maybe people notice immediately that you love to talk or that you are really shy. They may quickly know your favorite hobby, or sports team. But do they immediately notice the light of Christ in you?
