Devotional:

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Romans 12:18

If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Proverbs 12:20 (MSG)

Evil scheming distorts the schemer; peace-planning brings joy to the planner.

Where you can’t find peace nowadays, you as a child of God have the power to make it.  Get in your kitchen and whip up some peace. Get in your workplace and make peace. Where there are places where peace is scarce, make a plan to bring it and create it where you are.

Be the one who looks for a peaceful solution. Be the one who uses peaceful words. Be the one who brings a peaceful spirit. Be the one who treats everyone from a place of joy and peace.
